The President Of The United States Of America

The Boss

President George.W.Bush was first elected in 2000 then re-elected for a second term in 2004.The president is actually elected through the Electoral College not directly voted by the people. Each state is given electoral votes depending on the population and only two candidates for each state. The person in that state that wins the most votes gets all the electoral votes for that state. First candidate to get 270 electoral votes becomes the president. Below is a chart showing the United State and how the electoral votes are in each state.
