Canadian Government
In Canada the government consists of these parties. The N.D.P,the Christian Heritage, the green party, the Conservative and Liberal. The election period run for several week. This period is know as the campaign . During this time the people running for election are know as candidates they will try to convince the voters that they are the best person for the job. On voting day it means that it marks the end of the election campaign. In voting it takes a very long time usual from early in the morning to around 8 O’clock at night. By law adults receive time off work to vote the system of government in Canada is called parliamentary government. In Canada the people are not forced to vote, only encouraged it is their right and duty to choose who leads their country.
