Who
is the leader of Canada. Well, it is Steven Harper. Why? Because he is the one who sets the orders, rights and freedoms, but he doesn’t have the last say. In our bill of right the Queen is given the last say. It is very important that she or the Governor General ( her representative in Canada ) reads the bill, because if she doesn’t she will probably get some coming up to her asking “ How do you like this bill?”If she doesn’t read the bill, she won’t be able to tell him or her how she thinks about this new bill. The queen is the very last person who gets the bill. It goes through a whole lot of people before it comes to her.
It also goes through a whole big process and if everyone thinks it is good, it becomes a right, freedom, or a law. It is announced to the world by news papers, TV, and radio. When Canada knows about this law, right, or freedom, they have to begin to obey the law, right, or freedom. This is a way that a bill is processed.
